Farewell to Daniela and Gerhard
On April 24th, we gathered to celebrate the retirement of Gerhard Prölß and bid farewell to Daniela Dunst as she transitions to a new position within our organization.
Gerhard Prölß has been with us from the very beginning, playing a crucial role in building the MBT into what it is today. His patience and meticulous attention to detail in electronics, hardware programming, and engineering provided a reliable foundation for everyone at the institute. Gerhard’s vast expertise has shaped our workshop and contributed sustainably to numerous projects. Throughout his years with us, he always had an open ear for challenges and a helping hand to find solutions. We are deeply grateful for his dedication and wish him all the best in his retirement, with plenty of time to pursue his many hobbies.
After a decade with us, we also say goodbye to Daniela Dunst, who is moving to H6 (Central Commissioning). Daniela’s unique ability to manage a wide range of administrative tasks without losing track of urgent deadlines has been invaluable. No matter how busy things got, she was always there to help, taking the time to address individual requests efficiently and creatively. Her organizational talent, combined with her dark humour, allowed her to stay on top of things, and we are thrilled to see her take on new challenges at H6.
Daniela and Gerhard, thank you so much for the time we’ve shared and the energy you’ve dedicated to your work. Your contributions have made a lasting impact, and we wish you both great success in your future endeavours.
